Nov 07 Update

WOW…how time flies!!! Leah is now 26 months old. She weighs about 31 pounds…not sure how tall she is, but people always comment that she seems to be tall for her age. She’s talking like crazy. She’s just now starting to say 3-word phrases. She knows all but about 5 letters of the alphabet, can count to 5 and knows 8 colors (yellow is her favorite). She’s also eating great…there’s not a veggie that she won’t eat and she FINALLY eats apples and grapes (she’s a little slow with her whole fruit). One crazy thing that she seems to love is Kalamata olives (she picks them off Mommy and Daddy’s pizza). She’s a wonderfully happy toddler and extremely active. The kid just never seems to slow down except for nap time and when it’s time to eat. She just finished 8 weeks of swim lessons and will now jump from the side of the pool and doesn’t mind when she goes all the way under water. So far, she doesn’t have any fear of the water. She loves to play outside with a ball…she’s really good at catching, throwing and kicking it. Heck, she even tries to dribble.

For those of you who don’t know, we are now living in Warrensburg, Missouri. Deana has retired from the Air Force and is staying at home with Leah.
