Labor Day Weekend at Lake of the Ozarks!

The weather was perfect and we had a great weekend at the lake. We took the camper to Osage Beach and spent four days (okay two half days and two full days) enjoying the beauty of central Missouri. We went hiking, biking, swimming, playing, shopping, relaxing, and shared plenty of laughter and "smores" around the camp fire. Leah had a blast...as ususal. Nathan and Nitro made the trip too and both enjoyed the weekend away. It was a great weekend and we even worked in a little shopping at the Premium Outlet Mall (Aunt Shelly would be proud of us) to get some last-minute school shopping done for Leah. Tomorrow is her first day of pre-school! As for the "smores," Deana and Jim debated all weekend long who had the best "smore" making skills and whose technique yeilded the tastiest treat. It's debatable, but I think Jim came out on top with the much enjoyed "double-double" (only because Jim is the author of this blog). : )
