Medical Exams

Leah’s cold was getting worse and we were afraid it would move down into her chest, so we took her to the hospital yesterday. She didn’t have a fever, but they gave us an antibiotic for her cold and for some boils. About 30 minutes after we gave her the first dose of the antibiotic, she got a HUGE burst of silly energy. She was crawling all over the room and was up and nearly running while holding onto our fingers. She was absolutely hilarious!!!

We had her medical examination today…it’s required in order to obtain the US Visa. She weighed 19 pounds and is 29 inches long. She passed with flying colors!!!

Leah and Jim are napping right now. Leah’s a great sleeper, but she moves around a lot so Jim and I wake up all throughout the night to make sure she’s okay. It’s exhausting, but we wouldn’t change a thing!!!!

We have the next several days completely free, so we’re hope to do a lot of sightseeing and picture taking.
