Strolling Along the Pearl River
August 27, 2006. Today has been pretty relaxing. After breakfast we went for a walk along the Pearl River and then did a little shopping. We picked up a few cute outfits and a few pair of shoes for Leah. After Leah’s afternoon nap, we took a cab to a shopping center in Guangzhou called Carefree. It’s the WalMart of China. We bought some toys for Leah and few necessities. Tonight, we’re meeting some friends for dinner at one of the nicer restaurants here in the hotel. They call it a barbeque, but it’s more like a steak and seafood buffet. Here are some more pictures we took today.
