Trip To The Mountain
Aug 28, 06. We took a trip today to Yuntai Garden on Baiyun Mountain (they also call it White Cloud Mountain Park). It was beautiful, but incredibly humid!!
Leah’s doing good. She LOVES to practice walking (okay, running). She took several steps only holding onto one finger this afternoon. She’s a complete ham in the hotel room and in the hallway, but is a little more reserved out in public. It’s not that she’s really shy, she just kind of stares and quietly takes everything in. There are attendants (all young women) as you get off of the elevator at each floor and Leah really likes one of them. She smiles and laughs each time she sees her…it’s pretty cute. Her cold is still about the same…runny nose and a little cough. She seems to feel fine though.

Dear Leah,
I am glad you, Mommy & Daddy are getting to see the beautiful parks. From the look on your face I think you are in awe of all the new things you are seeing. There is lot more to come when you get to your new home. Six more days!!!!!

Yeah, the pictures are GREAT!!! I love seeing all the big beautiful smiles on your faces. We are so thrilled to see your family together and to see God's faithfulness!! Elizabeth had that running nose cough thing until about 2 weeks after we got home. It takes a while to get rid of all the pollution and gunk from the other kids. Can't wait to get the girls together to play!! Shelby
